Time to build our game!

To build our game and running it within the Code environment.

Claude Code is where all the magic happens. It can not only run in the Claude app, but it can also run in VS Code and Cursor, JetBrains, the web, and Slack. CLAUDE.md is standing instruction for the project. Plan mode, diffs, git, and PRs are native — this surface expects a repository.

Lab Instructions

STEP 1: In Claude, click on the code icon in the upper left hand.

STEP 2: Once in the Code screen, we will want to add our game folder. Click on the add folder icon and select your flappy-bird folder.

STEP 3: Now we are going to tell Claude Code to build our game. To do this, we need to open the Code mode in the desktop app.

Prompt: "Using the MD file in the flappy_bird folder, build a web based version of the game. Keep all the assets in the same folder and make sure to keep the game running locally."
